Service & repair questions
How do photo estimates work?
Take a few photos with your phone — the full item plus close-ups of the damage — and upload them through the estimate form or text them to 972-522-9763. We review the damage, identify the material, and reply with a firm price and honest recommendation. No visit needed to get a number, and the estimate is free.
Do you really come to my location for everything?
Yes — this is a fully mobile service across the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. Furniture is repaired in your home, vehicles in your driveway or office lot, boats at the marina, and commercial seating at your business. There is no shop to haul anything to.
What types of leather can be repaired?
Protected (pigmented) leather — most furniture and auto leather — repairs the most invisibly. Aniline and semi-aniline take dye-based methods with expectations set honestly up front. Bonded leather is assessed case by case: light damage can sometimes be stabilized, but heavy peeling usually isn't worth repairing, and we'll tell you so.
Is repair really better than replacement?
For quality furniture, usually by a wide margin: most repairs cost a small fraction of comparable replacement, keep a piece you already like, and skip the landfill. When a piece genuinely isn't worth repairing, the photo estimate says so before you spend anything.
Can you match my leather's exact color?
Yes — pigment is mixed on-site against your actual leather in your lighting, not picked from a chart. Repaired areas are blended into surrounding panels so the finish reads uniform, including two-tone and antiqued finishes.
My couch is peeling. Can it be fixed?
It depends on what's peeling. Genuine leather with a failing finish coat restores well — the finish is stripped and rebuilt. Bonded leather that's delaminating usually can't be permanently fixed by anyone, and we'll identify which you have for free from photos rather than sell you a repair that won't hold.
Do you repair car interiors as well as furniture?
Yes — seats, steering wheels, consoles, door panels, dashboards, carpet and trim, at your home or workplace. Automotive work includes factory color matching and same-day return to driving.
How do commercial projects work?
Start with a walk-through or batch of photos; you receive one itemized quote with per-item pricing and phasing options. Work is scheduled around your business hours — early mornings, overnights or closed days — so seating never leaves service.
When are appointments available?
Monday through Friday 9–5 and Saturdays 10–4, with early-morning and after-hours windows for commercial work. Most appointments are scheduled within days of estimate approval.
How should I care for leather after a repair?
Keep it clean, condition it every 6–12 months, and keep it out of direct sun where possible. Every repair visit ends with a simple care routine for your specific piece — following it is what makes repairs last for years.
Estimates & photos
What photos should I send for an accurate estimate?
One photo of the full item, one or two close-ups of the damage, and a different angle if the damage wraps an edge. If there's a brand or material tag, a photo of that helps too. Ordinary phone photos in normal light are perfect.
How fast will I hear back after sending photos?
We review photos and respond with an assessment and estimate as quickly as we can during business hours. If it's urgent, calling 972-522-9763 is the fastest route.
Is the estimate really free, and is it binding?
The photo estimate is free with no obligation. The price quoted from photos is the price, unless the damage turns out to be materially different in person from what photos could show — which is rare and discussed before any work starts.
Can I text photos instead of using the form?
Yes — text them to 972-522-9763 with a sentence about the item and your area. The form is simply the most organized way to give us everything at once.
Ready to see what your leather can look like?
Take a few photos of the damage, upload them, and get a firm free estimate — usually the same business day.
