Foam & Cushion Replacement in Dallas–Fort Worth

Foam has a service life and it's shorter than furniture's. After five to ten years of daily compression, cushion cores lose their resilience — the seat sits low, the front edge collapses under your knees, and the cover wrinkles because the foam inside has shrunk. The upholstery is fine; the inside has simply worn out.

Cushion replacement swaps the cores, not the couch: we measure your cushions, cut new high-density foam to the exact dimensions — firmer or softer than original if you prefer — wrap it properly, and refit your existing covers. The couch keeps its look and gains back the sit it had in the showroom.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know it's the foam and not the couch frame?

Press the seat with your hand: if it sinks easily and recovers slowly (or you can feel the base), the foam is done. If the whole seat platform tilts or bangs, the support beneath may be involved — photos and a description sort it quickly.

What foam do you use, and how long will it last?

High-resilience, high-density seating foam matched to the cushion's role — seats get firmer, longer-lived grades than backs. Expect the new cores to outlast the originals; cheap low-density foam is where sag comes from in the first place.

Can you make the couch firmer than it was new?

Yes — firmness is a choice at ordering. Many customers go one grade firmer than original, especially for taller or heavier sitters.

My cushions are attached and don't unzip. Can they still be re-cored?

Usually yes — attached cushions are opened along a seam, re-cored and restitched. It's a little more labor than zippered covers but very routine.
