Furniture Upholstery Repair in Dallas–Fort Worth

Upholstery repair sits between a surface touch-up and full reupholstery: the covering of the piece has failed somewhere — a torn panel, a burst seam, padding showing through a worn corner — but stripping and recovering the whole piece would cost multiples of what the damage justifies.

We repair the upholstery layer in place: panels patched or rebuilt, seams restitched along original lines, padding replaced behind worn spots, piping and welting repaired or renewed. The piece keeps its original construction and the repair targets exactly what failed.

Frequently Asked Questions

When is upholstery repair enough, and when do I need reupholstery?

Repair is right when damage is localized — a seam, a panel, a corner — and the rest of the covering is sound. Reupholstery makes sense when the covering has failed broadly or you want a different look entirely. We'll tell you which from photos, including when repair is the wrong spend.

Can you patch a torn panel invisibly?

On leather and vinyl, patches are rebuilt into the surface and refinished — typically invisible. On fabric, we use hidden material from the piece (under cushions, back panels) for the closest possible match.

The corner of the ottoman is worn through and padding shows. Fixable?

Yes — a classic upholstery repair: padding is replaced, the corner rebuilt or patched with matched material, and edges secured. Caught early it's small work.

Do you do boat and RV upholstery too?

Yes — the same panel, seam and padding work applies to marine and RV interiors, using materials rated for those environments. See the marine and RV service pages for specifics.
